Delete a child profile
Open the protected parent area, choose the relevant child in profile management and confirm Delete profile. Kumilo removes the profile, related discoveries and child-linked usage and safety metadata and places private image objects into a durable deletion queue. Profile-linked local chats and gallery entries are also removed on that device. An AI content report that has already been submitted is not deleted immediately with the profile: Kumilo clears its direct profile link and normally retains the report, reported output and limited review metadata for safety review until the 90-day period expires. Deleting the family account removes it earlier.
Delete the family account
In the protected parent area, open account management and choose Delete parent account. Kumilo requires recent reauthentication and express confirmation. It then deletes or schedules deletion of the family account, child profiles, permissions, sessions, discoveries, submitted AI content reports and related private objects, and cleans up revocable provider links.
Other devices lose server access. Information already stored locally on another offline device may remain there and must be removed on that device by signing out, resetting the app or uninstalling it.
Cancel a subscription separately
Deleting a Kumilo account, profile or the app does not end a subscription bought through Apple App Store or Google Play. Open the subscription settings for the store used and cancel it there. Kumilo cannot trigger a store cancellation on the account holder's behalf.
Limited information that remains longer
Rolling encrypted backups expire within 35 days. Pseudonymous store and billing evidence may normally remain for up to 400 days after the later of deletion or entitlement end. Session-deletion markers expire within 400 days; a repeatedly hashed installation marker and unlinkable technical deletion receipt currently have no scheduled expiry to prevent a long-offline device from restoring a deleted account and to prove completion. This residual information contains no child questions, images or audio.
If access does not work
Contact support and describe the access problem without sending passwords, PINs, one-time codes, children's photos or conversation content. To prevent unauthorised deletion, Kumilo requires suitable evidence of account authority; an unverified sender address alone is not enough.
